Microphone or pronunciation is not working

Pronunciation practice needs both Microphone and Speech Recognition permission. Open iOS Settings, find Radical Trainer, and confirm both are enabled. If either permission is off, pronunciation practice may be skipped or unavailable until you turn it back on.

On Android, allow Microphone permission in the App's system settings. Pronunciation uses bundled models on your device and does not need an online speech-recognition service. If permission is denied or recognition is unavailable, you can continue without speaking. Continue is also available after two unsuccessful attempts.

Daily reminders are not appearing

Daily practice reminders are local iOS notifications. Open iOS Settings, check Notifications for Radical Trainer, and confirm alerts and sounds are allowed. The App can only schedule reminders after you approve notification permission.

On Android 13 or later, allow Notifications in the App's system settings. Android reminders use inexact alarms, so their delivery time can vary with battery-saving settings and device activity.

All lessons are free on iPhone and Android. No purchase, restore, or subscription is needed. Complete the current lesson to unlock the next; challenge and final reviews require an 80% passing score.
